Malabari Wagon kick started
While heralding the upcoming Malabar Literature Festival (MLF), the Malabari Wagon kick started on Tuesday at Amal College at Nilambur. The campus tour is organised in order to disseminate the message of MLF to be held from November 30-December 3 at Kozhikode Beach. PV Abdul Wahab MP inaugurated Malabari Wagon. Wahab said MLF would be an ideal venue that celebrates the rich tapestry of Malabar's language, literature, arts, culture, and international relations. It serves as a platform for diverse voices and ideas, bringing together a diverse array of authors and experts from around the world. “MLF and its accompanying events assume much significance as they keep the legacy of the region intact while helping the young generations comprehend the might and the glory of the region,” he said. Malabari Wagon features talks, interactive shows, cultural programmes and musical events with focus on the cultural, social and historical significance of the region. The tour on Tuesday covered MES College Mampad where several students attended the talk and interactive sessions. During the upcoming days, the tour will cover several educational institutions including Malappuram Womens College, Government College Malappuram, Ma'din Arts College Melmuri, SAFI Institute of Advanced Study Vazhayur, EMEA College Kondotty, KAHM Unity Women's College Manjeri, Sullamussalam College Areacode, Wafa Campus Pang, PTM College Perinthalmanna, MEA Engineering College, PSMO College Tirurangadi, Calicut University Campus, Farook College, Devagiri College, KMO Koduvally, Malabar Christian College, Government Arts College Meenchanda, Government College Tanur, TMG College Tirur, Malayalam University and Markazu Saquafathi Sunniyya Karanthoor.
